Selected Research Papers

Philip Barker

Listed below is a selection of recent research papers related to my broad interests in human-computer interaction (HCI).  Many of these publications deal with the use of technology for skill and knowledge development and/or knowledge sharing.  Some ofthe work also deals with the use of electronic performance support systems (EPSS) for overcoming intrinsic limitations in human ability - be these of a physical or of a cognitive nature.

I have several hundred publications, prior to 1990, that are not included in the list presented here. There are a few exceptions - including my three 'most cherished' publications. Click here to see them.
